Active Solar Panels
When you enter the Christy Webber Landscapes office (at Rancho Verde, part of on the premier Chicago GreenWorks development site) through the front door you pass under an 8-panel active solar thermal system.

The primary purpose of this system is to capture the heat of the sun and make that available to supplement the needs of the geothermal systems. The panels also provide the temperature to heat all the building’s hot water needs and supplement the more traditional heating systems of the shop building.
